What do you get when you take a pressure washer and mix it with a gas pump? Well a tool flame thrower of course! 
I got inspired after seeing how the underside of ocean ships are pressure washed to remove barnacles and other marine life. I thought it would be fun to see how a space ship might deal with similar problems from a “Space-barnacle” 
Course, if you show the audience a flame thrower, you gotta let them use it so i included some fun game mechanic ideas for it.
