My more finished pieces definitely don’t fit into concept art as cleanly anymore. Instead I’m focusing on the technical skill of Rendering and capturing emotion, with this I could easily move it forward into other poses with photo manipulation and only marginally more drawing. 
Clean clear images without visual ambiguity is what I’m trying to master at the moment, and that work tends to look more like illustration.
