Silo the Middle Wanderer

Silo the middle wanderer, the conduit, or the grain keeper, is a mythological god figure who represents the space from death to rebirth.
Their dominion is that of decay, reconstitution, and germination.
Their omens are typically clean bones, scattered seeds, and heavy winds.
A sighting might herald a good harvest, aggressive wild growth, or conversely that some manner of organic matter has been kept for too long and will quickly begin to decay.
Their boons are given to those who embrace circular life and allow for natural decay. This includes composting, natural burials, and non homogenous agriculture. These boons are often a shedding of illness, and or great luck in finding wild forage-ables.

Their curses are often afflicted upon those who trifle with the natural cycle. Preservers, tanners, and taxidermists are seen as defiant to the natural cycle and often suffer a pervasive white mold on their preserved or tanned material that can quickly reduce all dead organic matter it comes in contact with to an ash like powder called Smoke Ash.
This however is not a total loss, as Smoke Ash is a fantastic fertilizer as well as making beautiful root-like grain in glass that it’s mixed into.
