Concept art for a melee character. Initial description was “close range, melee brute who fights with fists and blades”.
I rolled with that and thought that brutes are not really a traditional “blade” archetype. The term brute feels like a bludgeon or strength based fighter. To reconcile this, I decided to hybridized brass knuckles and blades, and to augment his power would be a set of powerful leaf springs to hold and tension his body upon impact, and recoil back to a neutral stance.
